This blog post will go into a bit more detail about this goal I have set for myself.
I have always been afraid of exposing myself online. I remember getting persuaded to join Facebook back in the 2006 or so, and not liking it very much. I barely used my account. (I have since deleted my account, so don’t look for me there.) I joined Twitter at some point and also barely use it, until this month. This month, I’m going to face my fear and post every day.
What am I going to post about? I have no clue. So far, the only topic that I can think of that is “safe” is my pets. But, I want to do more than that for this exposure therapy. I’m not trying to be a pet blogger, after all.
I’m going to try to post about things I’m learning about, and my struggles with the material (if any). I’m going to try to post about projects I’m working on, and any progress I’ve made to those ends. I’m going to try to post about my feelings, and that is the scariest thing of all.
Well, maybe not my feelings right away. I need to warm myself up first, so it’ll probably be about technology, mostly. And maybe my pets too. And I’m definitely going to experiment with promoting this blog.
